Business Case
Quadrant Properties Limited is a property management company overseeing a diverse and growing portfolio of development sites across New Zealand. With a lean internal team of just four, they are responsible for more than 45 active maintenance sites—each involving various contractors and evolving safety requirements. For a long time, safety compliance was managed manually. Site inductions, contractor documentation, and hazard notifications were handled through spreadsheets, emails, and physical paperwork. It was not only inefficient, but also left room for human error—something no property manager wants when lives and liability are on the line.
The urgency for change became undeniable after a near miss incident occurred on-site. That moment served as a wake-up call, underscoring the need for a centralised system that could ensure every safety checklist was followed, every contractor was onboarded properly, and every risk was communicated clearly and on time. Quadrant needed a better way to protect both their contractors, tenants and their business, without overwhelming their small team.
